Accordingly, in order to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic as well as implement the requests of the prime minister, the Ministry of Transport, and Quang Ninh provincial People s Committee, all employees and staff of Van Don International Airport will have to go into self-isolation until the end of March 2.

Date Time Light Aircraft Crash at Burnie/Wynyard Airport Around 4pm today emergency services were called to the Burnie Airport regarding a light aircraft crash. A recreational aircraft being piloted by a 77-year-old man who is an experienced pilot, was attempting to land, when the aircraft appears to have been hit by a cross wind which has contributed to the aircraft crashing upon landing. The pilot has managed to contact airport staff, who contacted emergency services, before extricating himself from the aircraft. The pilot was taken to the North West Regional Hospital due to lower back soreness. There were no passengers on the aircraft.
